History
In the early 15th Century, if you wanted to duplicate a written document, all you had to do was write another copy by hand. Then, in the year 1450, Gutenberg developed the moveable type printing press.
People could get their thoughts onto paper more easily, and suddenly the information age had begun. 1450, Inc. prides itself in continuing the legacy of Gutenberg, allowing thoughts to get onto paper more easily.
1450 Inc. was founded in early 1998 for the express purpose of giving resellers in the speech recognition industry a supplier that offered a unique combination of competitive pricing with value added services. We officially opened our doors on April 1st of that year. Now, many years later, 1450 Inc.’s main focus continues to revolve around products and services in this cutting edge industry – digital information. Our business continues to grow year by year despite the significant drop off in IT spending as a whole over the last several years. We believe the reason for our continued success in these tough, volatile economic times is simple: we believe that to keep 1450 Inc. a growing concern well into the future is largely dependent upon the day-to-day service that we give to our customers today. This simple formula with which we started this distributorship, we believe, will prove to be successful as we begin to expand our business to other related technological markets.
