This will help increase the cervical lordotic curve and should help reduce the muscle tension the patient experiences through the cervical and thoracic spine regions. This orthotic is to be used while sleeping on the patient's back or if the patient chooses to sleep on either side. The goal is to use it nightly. A thorough explanation and demonstration was performed for the patient today and the patient felt knowledgeable about its use and function. |
